Our success stories

British Medical Association/British Medical Journal
Tavistock House, Euston, London.

In 2017, Elite Private Fitness became the official fitness partner for the British Medical Association/British Medical Journal employee gym. It offered consultation on the gym layout and design, equipment and health and safety issues.

Ian Wade, Head of UK Estates for the BMA, opened a 120 sqm staff gym in Tavistock House in May 2017, which has proved a resounding success, attracting over 500 staff members based in the building.

Wade explains: “We need to practice what we preach as our core value is ‘we look after doctors so they can look after you.’ The workplace wellbeing ethos was very high on everyone’s agenda, and there is an obvious connection to the idea that a healthy workforce equals happy people, who in turn will be more productive.

Dechert LLP

Blackfriars, London.

In May 2019, Elite Private Fitness partnered with Dechert LLP to launch a premium in-house gym at their Blackfriars office, designed to deliver convenience, performance, and wellbeing at the highest standard.

Equipped with cutting-edge fitness technology, the facility rapidly established itself as a high-performance wellness hub, supporting over 500 active users. Designed for seamless integration into the workday, it enabled employees to train without the disruption of commuting to external gyms, enhancing convenience, productivity, and overall well-being. This on-site solution represented a strategic move toward integrating health and fitness into the workplace's fabric, as with the BMA. Virtual sessions were introduced to accommodate hybrid workers.

Elite Private Fitness managed the whole operation, delivering personalised inductions, expert personal training, and a consistently high-quality experience. Though the gym has now closed following Dechert’s relocation, its success remains a benchmark in workplace wellness, demonstrating the value of integrated fitness solutions in driving engagement, productivity, and staff satisfaction.

1 Paddington Square

Paddington, London.

Paddington Square is a 430,000 sq ft development by Renzo Piano, positioned directly beside Paddington Station. With 350,000 sq ft of Grade A office space now home to FTSE 100 and global businesses, the building sees over 1,000 daily occupiers and is entirely let. At its heart lies a 3,375 sq ft occupier-only boutique gym—conceived, delivered, and operated by J&H Fitness.

Engaged from the concept stage, Jason Corrie and Hash Alsaidi, owners of J&H Fitness, partnered with the developer and main occupier, Capital Group, to shape a fitness offering that reflects the building’s premium standards. Our input spanned gym design, member modelling, class programming, and personal training strategy, ensuring the space met both operational and experiential goals. From fitout to mobilisation, J&H Fitness oversaw every detail, delivering a seamless launch and now running the facility end-to-end.

The result: a high-performance, brand-aligned fitness environment that enhances tenant wellbeing, drives engagement, and sets a new benchmark for workplace wellness.
